Were it not for my friend and female soul mate, Mary, I would have never drawn this. At one point, she was worried this was her future. Assuredly, it is not, so I am claiming it as my own.
*until an actual title presents itself, I am settling on a BACK TO THE FUTURE reference. For some reason (TBS's seemingly constant broadcasting of it when I was young and around television), I have seen that dumb movie many, many times.

I also love all of the previous cat posts and your addition of which characteristics they embody. It reminds me of this book of Greek myths I had when I was a kid, and the totally creepy picture that illustrated Pandora's box. I miss the hell out of you.
Also, I too watched Back to the Future countless times on TBS as a child. Art needs more Back to the Future puns, I've decided, just now, so kudos to you.
(I can't write or say or think the word "kudos" without thinking of those weird granola bars. Did you ever have a friend who whenever you went over to their house after school, would offer you a snack, but all they ever had was like mayonnaise, grapefruit soda, and Kudos bars?)

Of course there will be a way for you to get a print (like actual, real, nice, professional, adult, me attempting to be a business woman print), but I would feel far too weird accepting money from you, so I have a better idea and that is that we do a trade. Please. “We Are All Megasharks” is wonderful, but I want another Mary original. For example, I would gladly accept your current favored motif, the bear eating a toasted cheese sandwich.
I really miss you. I’m like that inconsolable cat there with this Mary-shaped hole in my heart. I’m glad you like naming the characteristics the cats embody. I was worried it was going to come across like those pieces people do in college about the seven deadly sins or Dante’s Inferno.
Oh my god, I don’t know if I actually had a friend like that, but I totally did have a friend like that, in my mind, because it’s perfect.
